Why does mould keep coming back?
Because it lives in the substrate behind the silicone, not on it. Unless the joint is stripped and the substrate treated, it grows back through any new sealant.
Is bathroom mould a health issue?
It can aggravate asthma and allergies. If anyone in the household is affected, treating it properly rather than cleaning the surface is worth doing.
