Internal wet areas & finishing joints

Silicone Sealing

Silicone is the last trade through a wet area before it gets photographed, inspected or handed over — so the finish carries the whole room. We prep every joint back to bare substrate, mask for a straight line, and colour-match to the fixture rather than the wall, so the bead disappears instead of drawing the eye.

Questions

Silicone Sealing — common questions

Can you colour-match to our joinery and stone selections?

Yes. Neutral-cure silicone comes in a wide colour range and we match to the fixture — benchtop, tile or frame — not the wall, so the joint reads as part of the finish rather than a visible seal.

Do you work to PC inspection deadlines?

Yes. Silicone is usually the last internal trade before a wet area is photographed or inspected, so we schedule to hit PC dates and flag early if a joint isn’t ready for us — damp substrate or missing backing.

How do you handle wet areas across multiple units?

Unit-by-unit checklists so nothing gets missed on repeat floor plates, and a consistent crew across the job so the finish doesn’t vary unit to unit.
